Axis Accounting Systems LLC was founded in 1996 by entrepreneur Dallas Hagewood Wilt. After experiencing the relentless travel schedule of a consultant for one of the top national accounting firms, she knew there had to be a better way. She knew she could offer the same level of service to her clients, yet offer a better quality of life for her employees. She first started a small software consulting business in Atlanta, but ultimately sold her share of that firm and moved to Nashville to create Axis Accounting Systems LLC. The firm has experienced steady and consistent growth since its inception.

In November 2005, Axis Accounting Systems affiliated with KraftCPAs PLLC — a Nashville-based accounting firm with fifty years of service in the business community – to extend each company’s service offerings. This partnership was a natural fit as both companies place their clients as priority number one. Company culture and values also align to create fun and rewarding places to work.

In May 2008, the firm appointed new leadership in Greg Lemon. Dallas continues to serve in a consulting role and is chair of the board of directors.

Axis Accounting Systems earned the prestigious Microsoft Gold Partner status in 2007 and has been recognized as one of 100 Technology Pacesetter companies by Accounting Technology magazine for the past three years. The company is a two-time recipient of the Music City Future 50 Award and has been recognized by the Nashville Business Journal as a finalist for Small Business of the Year.
